Our Story

The Gorillas Baseball Club was founded in 2003 with a simple mission: to provide youth baseball players in San Diego the opportunity to fully develop their skills and potential in a competitive program. Later incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2005, we have continued to promote and support youth development through competitive baseball.

Based in San Diego, California, the Gorillas Baseball Club operates as a year-round program with teams participating in highly competitive Spring, Summer, and Fall/Winter leagues. We field teams for league ages 12U, 13U, 14U, and 15U, serving the competitive athlete who strives to take their game to the "Next Level."

Whether a player's goal is making their high school team or preparing for college baseball, the Gorillas Baseball Club provides the elite coaching, competitive environment, and development opportunities necessary to achieve those dreams.

"Player Development" is our top priority, and to achieve this goal, we work exclusively with top-tier coaches whose passion for teaching the game of baseball is second to none.

We want all our players to learn, grow, and succeed in taking their game to the next level—whether that's making their high school team or preparing them to move on and play college ball. By placing player development ahead of everything else, winning as a "team" takes care of itself.

The Gorillas Baseball "team" starts with the selection of the coach. After we check their references and observe them in action to ensure they meet our demanding criteria, we then recruit players and build a team around them. Several of our coaches are professional trainers who have played or coached at the high school, college, and professional level.
